(Video) Drake Involved In Fan Altercation

Drake may have wowed the sold-out crowd attending his Jacksonville, Florida concert last week, but with more money comes more problems.

After the show, two fans claim that they were merely showing their appreciation for Drizzy when the rapper and his bodyguard got physical, pushing them away and spurring an altercation that sent one of them to the hospital.

“Before I got to say his name, [his bodyguard] punched me in the mouth and I fell back,” said Jeremis Perez Soriano, who ended up with six stitches on the left side of his mouth. “These are the same people that are buying your CDs. You shouldn’t treat us like that.”

His female friend, who was first pushed away by Drake, maintains that there was no physical contact on their behalf. “He never put his hands on Drake, he never put his hands on the security guard. He never even made a fist to hit the security guard for the security guard to come and hit him that hard,” she said. “Drake went to get on his bus and he flicked me off in my face and was like, ‘F you, you’re nothing.’”

Soriano is currently seeking legal advice and plans to file suit against the hip-hop star. He says he doesn’t want much, only reimbursement for his medical bills.

(Videos) Drake Gets A Surprise From Lil’ Wayne & Snooki

MTV celebrated the debut of its new daily show “The Seven” on Monday with in-studio guests Drake and Justin Timberlake, plus Lil Wayne, who called up the network on his 28th birthday for an interview from Rikers Island.

Never one to stop hustling even behind bars, Weezy plugged his new album I Am Not a Human Being, which arrived at digital retailers today. “I just looked in the mirror, plain and simple. I still be looking in the mirror trying to figure it out myself,” he said of his latest project’s title. “The album was totally fun, because I love recording. That’s what I love to do next to breathing, so I made sure I had some material before I came in here to release while I was in here. Fans have been more than unbelievable.”

Mr. Carter, who gets around 150 pieces of fan mail every day and reads one-fifth of what he receives, also shared that he can’t wait to hug his kids when he gets released from the clink in early November. Plus, he surprised his Young Money fam Drake, who stopped by the studio as one of the live show’s first guests.

“I miss y’all too. What’s this I hear about you marrying Snooki?” Weezy asked Drake, referring to a videotaped love letter from “Jersey Shore” star Snooki, who joked that if they dated they would be called “Dooki.” Drizzy wished his big brother a happy birthday before Wayne signed off. Drake & Rhianna Hit The Studio

Drake and Rihanna may have gone their separate ways when it comes to love, but the pair has reunited for a new collaboration. The Young Money rapper spilled the beans about their secret duet during a recent interview.

“I just did this great song with Rihanna so I hope we get to shoot a video for that too,” he revealed to MTV News backstage at his Miami tour kick-off this week. “I’m really excited about that song.”

Drake had reportedly written for Rihanna in the past, but the material did not make her album. He was careful not to give away too much about their latest collabo, which will likely appear on Rihanna’s new album Loud, due November 16. “I don’t know if I’m supposed to talk about that actually.”

The young stars were rumored to have dated in the past, but their brief relationship left Drizzy brokenhearted. “I was a pawn,” he told The New York Times. “You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, ‘Wow, this feels terrible.’”

When asked earlier this year who she would like to work with, RiRi said Drake was at the top of her list. “He’s really, really talented, and I think he’s one of the illest lyricists out there right now, so I would love to work with him,” she told E!’s Ben Lyons.

Loud has already produced a hit with lead single “Only Girl (In the World),” which jumped 75-3 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100, selling 249,000 downloads in its first week.

(New Music) Lil’ Wayne Ft. Young Money – “YM Salute”

Lil Wayne assembles his Young Money fam for the posse cut “YM Salute” off his album I Am Not a Human Being. Nicki Minaj kicks off the booming track with her militant chorus, paving the way for Lil Twist and Lil Chuckee to spit some bars alongside the fam. Gudda Gudda and Jae Millz add their own spice to the mix, with Wayne capping off the joint with a verse flaunting his riches.

The song, recorded over one year ago, uses the same beat as Young Jeezy’s potential Beyoncé collaboration “Mama Told Me.” Look out for more YM heat when Human Being drops online

(Photos) Drake Light Up Miami @ Tour Kickoff

Drake turned up the Miami heat when he kicked off his “Light Dreams and Nightmares” tour at the James L. Knight Center on Monday night (Sept. 20). Drizzy upped the ante for his headlining trek in support of his debut album Thank Me Later, adding more lights, background singers, and additional time on stage. His Young Money labelmate Tyga replaced Clipse as the opening act and Birdman helped hold it down for Lil Wayne.

“This is my first time ever being able to create a world,” Drake told MTV News of his new stage setup. “Prior to this, I’ve had to create my world through performance. You literally have to get lost in the music to make you feel like you were somewhere else.”

The night before the opening show, Drake was seen celebrating his father’s birthday at upscale Asian eatery Philippe.

The “Light Dreams and Nightmares” tour travels across the country, stopping in New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, wrapping Nov. 6 in Las Vegas, the day after Weezy is expected to be released from jail.
