(New Music) Rick Ross Ft. Drake – “Made Men”

Drake

While his Ashes to Ashes mixtape just hit the web last month, Rick Ross is already plotting his studio follow-up to 2010’s Teflon Don. The Miami rapper unleashes the Drake-assisted “Made Men,” the first offering from his fifth album God Forgives, I Don’t. With a tinkering beat similar to “MC Hammer” and “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast),” the banger, originally intended for inclusion on Ashes, features Rozay’s signature stunted delivery and witty rhymes.

“That ’65, I call it Rihanna/ It got a red top, but it’s white like Madonna/ Made men, you hear what I said?/ Havin’ a slumber party, all my bitches countin’ bread,” raps the Bawse. “One of my baddest women ever, I call her Rihanna/ But that’s ’cause her name is Rihanna,” echoes Drizzy.

While Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj were ringing in 2011 with Carson Daly, Drake repped for his Young Money fam by performing on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.” Clad in a leather jacket with fur collar, an unshaven Drizzy set the New Year’s party in motion with “Show Me a Good Time” and “Fancy,” on which he was accompanied by a violinist.

Drizzy plans to follow-up a banner 2010 by releasing his sophomore album Take Care later this year.

The 25 Best Drake Verses Of 2010

Drake

2010 was an amazing year for Drake. He dropped his platinum debut album, Thank Me Later, scored a gang of Top 40 hits, and solidified his spot as the best and brightest young talent in hip-hop. But if there’s one persistent claim that’s dogged him this year, it’s the one hip-hop purists (read: haters) always seem to make: Drake can’t rap. But it’s a claim that we’ve always found to be completely bizarre, because despite his heartthrob status and inclination to sing, that boy can spit! It’s always better to show than to tell, so to prove our point we went through all of his verses and picked The 25 Best Drake Verses of 2010.

(Video) Drake Visits The Hospital For Sick Children

Drake stopped by The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto on Wednesday to spread some early holiday cheer. The Hospital began to buzz in the early afternoon as word quickly spread that the hip-hop superstar would be making an appearance. Excited fans lined the hallway outside the Bear Theatre before settling in for an up close and personal meet-and-greet and autograph session. Drake also made some personal visits to patients who were unable to leave their rooms. He made one girl’s dream come true when he hit his speed dial and let her talk to his buddy Justin Bieber! More videos after the jump.

(Video) Drake Calls Nicki Minaj’s Breakout Year “Incredible”

Drake compared the success of his and Minaj’s debuts with Weezy’s opening-week sales of Tha Carter III, saying each subsequent project further cemented the collective’s status.

“It’s not that I didn’t believe,” he added. “And she was probably looking at me like, ‘This Jew from Canada: I don’t know.’ ”

And now, after the successful debut of Minaj’s Pink Friday, the Toronto lyricist said he couldn’t be happier for the “Right Thru Me” star.

“It’s amazing now to see her come into her own, build this brand and persona,” he said. “It’s incredible.”

(Photos) Drake & Maxwell Kick It Courtside

Drake

Hip-hop represented on the court at last night’s New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat game at Madison Square Garden in New York City. After meeting up with his entire Young Money family earlier in the day, Drake joined Maxwell courtside. The heartthrobs snacked on pizza and shared laughs as they watched the game, along with Fabolous, DJ Clue, Birdman, and DJ Khaled. Even a Jonas brother was in the house.

Drizzy said he was impressed by Lil Wayne’s lyrics on his new single “6 Foot 7 Foot.” “Listening to Lil Wayne is frustrating at times,” he told The Bay’s WiLD 94.9. “He dropped this song the other day and said, ‘Real Gs move in silence like lasagna,’ and the ‘G’ in lasagna is silent, so I just thought that was [clever].”

(Video) Drake Still Insists That Rihanna Friendzoned Him

Before hitting the stage for Wild Jam 2010 in San Jose, Drake joined JV’s Morning Show backstage where he spoke on traveling across the border, Lil Wayne being the “messiah” of our generation and his relationship with Rihanna. Apparently they’re still just “friends.” But other sources are suggesting that Rihanna ended her relationship with L.A. Dogers’ outfielder Matt Kemp because she’s been getting it in with Young Angel. Is there really any truth to this?
